Many happy returns to a man who not only helped change the fabric of the Star Trek universe back in 1987 but who has continued to stay at the very top of the public consciousness ever since in his signatures role of Jean-Luc Picard and Professor Charles Xavier. Born in Mirfield, Yorkshire on 13th July 1940, we're thrilled to see that he is hale and hearty and returning to that inconc role later this year in Star Trek: Picard, and how lucky are we to have him in our lives.

From the team at Star Trek The Neutral Zone, happy 79th birthday Sir Patrick.
