Today ranks among the most important holidays in all of fandom. Star Wars might have May 4th, Back to the Future October 21st but Star Trek has April 5th. Why April 5th? The date celebrates the founding of the Federation, the day the Vulcan ship the T’Plana-Hath landed in Boseman, Montana and made official first contact with humanity after noting the first warp flight by a human, the legendary Zephram Cochrane.

We're 45 years away from that date - and unbelievably already 22 years beyond Star Trek First Contact - so from all the crew at TNZ, happy First Contact Day!
